'To Capture Smoke no. 02' - Original Artwork

190.00

A stitched reflection on the charcoaled ambience and smouldering aroma left by the smoke of a campfire. Impossible to hold, this is our crystalline capture of a whisp of smoke before it dissipates into nothingness.

This original piece was created by Maya Santoso and is arranged in the Asanoha pattern, which is often used in Japanese sashiko. This is the first tessellation for the Campfire Collection.

8cm diameter

Giclee prints on rice paper, sewn together using 100% cotton thread.

This piece comes signed, mounted and framed in white.

Frame size approx. 18cm x 18cm
