Whenever Iceland comes up in a conversation, people always gravitate towards the word 'magic' and although it's a well used descriptor, I couldn't find a better word.
There's something intoxicating and romantic about that little island. It's dramatic, quiet, moody and located extremely far away from where I grew up. I dreamed for years of visiting and finally put my dream into reality in 2012. When I first stepped foot off the plane my feet felt like they had landed on another planet and when I started to explore I felt like I had entered an entirely new gravitational pull, so for a month I quietly orbited around.
I've returned a few more times since and this is a collection of photographs from those trips.
